Le Roi des Couleurs exhibition at the Bromley Arts Council

Today has been spent putting the finishing touches to framing of work for display in my first exhibition of 2009. The solo show at Bromley Arts Councils’ New Gallery in the Ripley Art Centre, opens to the public on the 6th of January and runs until January 30th. It will be the first time some of my new collages will be exhibited. It is a rather exciting moment when I see work settled in a frame for the first time – there is a feeling of near completion, that the image is ready to go out into the world, and be seen.

There will be an open evening on January 12th from 7pm to 9pm when everyone will be welcome to view the exhibition. Weekdays, there is free admittance to the arts centre from 9am to 3pm, but it is advisable to phone the centre on 020 8564 5816 before visiting, as there may be other events taking place that particular day. Please see www.bromleyarts.com for more information about the Ripley Arts Centre. To locate them on google maps, the full address is:
24 Sundridge Avenue, Bromley, Kent BR1 2PX (nearest station Bromley South, a few miles west of the A20).
